A Wonderful Mission

Our investigators are doing so well! We just love the members and they are really picking up on helping us missionaries. We had so many people offer to have lessons at there homes, give rides, fellowship, come out with us and much more. I just love it! I'm a little scared that I wont be able to remember everything that I have to do in the week but Sister Cox helped me get it all down in my planner so it should be okay. We are working hard and finding people. There is work to do everywhere we go. There is so much power in including members. I love it. We have a few people that we are excited to start teaching and get them going as well.

Testimony- As companions we have bean sharing our testimony with each other more and it's really had an influence on mine. I feel so much power and even when I am told over and over that I'm crazy etc. I can still stand and say that I know! I know because I have gone and done what has has bean asked to be able to have a sure knowledge of these things. If ye do His will ye shall know of the Doctrine. I know this is true and I love it!

Service- We really did a lot this week. We have been pushing this for so long and now it's finally starting to roll! We helped a woman this week we sanded one of her desks down. She came out and we were able to talk with her about the church. She goes to a different church and she was talking about how easy it is to pray for someone and that's what her church does for her but action speaks louder than words and she loves that about our church and how thankful she was to us! We invited her to church and she said that she would come but her mom wasn't feeling well so it didn't work this week. Maybe next week! We are super excited!

Companion- She is the best thing that I have out here. I just love her so much and wish that I could have her forever. I just have been given so much from her and the support and love is what has helped me get through some rough places. I know that she will continue to serve wherever she is placed!

Beautiful California

My mission

Well, we are teaching a woman named Saundra. She is so great!
She is the girl friend of a less active who invited her to take the lessons with us.
We were so excited! We had the lesson at a members home.
I could feel the spirit working with in me and so I opened my mouth (we had planned to ask her)
and I bore my testimony to her and asked her if she would follow the example of Jesus Christ and go by faith
and prepare for baptism on March 7th! She said YES and her boy friend looked so shocked!
We are working with him so he can be ready to baptize her! It's so great!

Another of our great investigators! I love it here! She is the cutest little lady! She loves her dog and it just needs a lot of help. :) She is so sweet!

 I love it here!

Best Week EVER!!!!

Our area is improving! We are so excited to be working with the members and getting people at lessons. Our bishop is amazing and it will be hard to see him go. We had two of our investigators at church and it was such a sweet experience! (One left right after but the other one really likes it. She's come now 3 times!)  They are so great and we are excited to see there progression! We are working hard and love the work! I am so excited about the new Key indicators! They are truly inspired! I really am very excited about them! This is the way missionary work should be done, through members!

OUR bishop is called as a mission president! Isn't that crazy! Their family is so wonderful and I just love them! He said that we were one of the best missionaries this ward has ever had!  I  got to talk this week with Elder Evens! He is head of the mission department and is one of the 70! He is so great!

Testimony- I know that this Church is not made by man and that even when others do not want to listen I can still smile and be confident in myself because of my testimony! I love this gospel and I promise to live my life by it. Not for a month and not for a year but for my whole life!

Sister Cox and I are going to shop for a curling iron next week! I'm excited!
My Companion works so hard and is taking advantage of the time that she has.

Exchanges- I love Sister Arnt! She is amazing and has such a great powerful talent in teaching! I learned a lot from her! We set a goal for this Transfer to have two feet in. I feel like a goal that I need to apply is that I need to be more concerned about others than myself and should think of them. So now when I begin to worry or think about myself I'm going to think of someone that I can help and plan on how I'm going to do that for them. I love this work and I love the people!

Two progressing investigators! Two people at church!

 Best WEEK EVER!!!!

Sweet Sister Missionaries

Best Companions!

I love who I'm becoming. I see myself becoming a woman who is patient and not afraid of doing anything to Lord asks, and to be happy in all circumstances and to have a firm testimony of his love! I'm becoming more productive and I really am becoming more independent. I love the people and I'm learning how do show love for everyone!

I'm doing well! It's going by way to fast now. I have been out for two whole months and more and I have learned so much. We are loving life! This is my great family that we eat with a lot and they love us!

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year everyone!

This is our Stake Center. It is so beautiful!
I am so thankful to our Heavenly Father and for all his tender mercies. He truly is our Father.

It's like a huge temple almost! I use to think our church buildings where a bit boring.
I hope that everyone's New Year will be great! Sorry I don't have any pictures of me!
